City’s Solid Waste Manager certified as Integrated Solid Waste Management Systems Manager

Kathy Richardson, Solid Waste Manager, achieved the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) certification for Integrated Solid Waste Management Systems Manager. Ms. Richardson met the eligibility requirements and passed a comprehensive examination. This certification is a professional achievement that places Ms. Richardson amongst an elite group of solid waste professionals. The term of this SWANA certification is for three years.   

Building Inspector Identification and Inspection Expectations/Protocols

Planning and Development Services has updated their protocols for completing inspections in the field.  The goal of the protocols is to ensure that as much identification and communication as possible is provided to and with residents so that the residents and inspectors safety during an inspection remains at a high level.
