ORDINANCE NO. 9048

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17, OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS, 2013 EDITION AND AMENDMENTS THERETO, RELATING TO SPEED LIMITS.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS:

SECTION  I: From and after the effectiveness of this ordinance and the installation of appropriate traffic control devices, the Speed Limit on Delaware Street between 8^th Street and 11th Street shall be 20 MPH.

SECTION II: The City Engineer is hereby directed to amend the Schedule of Speed Limits, maintained by the Office of the City Engineer, to reflect the provisions of Section I.
