ORDINANCE NO. 9046

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17, OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS, 2013 ADDITION AND AMENDMENTS THERETO, RELATING TO TRUCK DELIVERY ROUTES.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS:

SECTION 1:    From and after the effectiveness of this ordinance the City Engineer is hereby directed to amend the Schedule of Truck Delivery Routes (Schedule 28),        maintained by the Office of the City Engineer, as follows:

SCHEDULE 28

TRUCK DELIVERY ROUTES

Truck Delivery Routes are hereby established in the following locations.  Intracity deliveries shall be made via the most direct route between origin and destination using truck routes whenever ·possible. Trucks making multiple deliveries    shall use truck routes whenever possible to reach their initial destination; trucks may leave truck routes using truck delivery routes following the most direct route between stops and back to a truck route.

6th Street from Massachusetts Street to New Hampshire Street

7th Street from New Hampshire Street to New Jersey Street

8th Street from Connecticut Street east to its end

9th Street from Delaware Street to Iowa Street

11th Street from Haskell Avenue to Tennessee Street

15th Street from Connecticut Street to the east city limits

15th Street from Naismith Drive to the west city limits

19th Street from Haskell Avenue to Iowa Street

31st Street from Kasold Drive to the east city limits

Clinton Parkway from Iowa Street to the west city limits

Connecticut Street from 7th Street to 15th Street

Delaware Street from 8th Street to 11th Street

Folks Road from 6th Street to the north city limits

George Williams Way from 6th Street to 15th Street

Haskell Avenue from 11th Street to the south city limits

Indiana Street from 9th Street to 12th Street

Indiana Street from 19th Street to Sunflower Road

Iowa Street from Lakeview Road to Princeton Boulevard

Kasold Drive from 31st Street to the north city limits

Kentucky Street from 6th Street to 19th Street

Lakeview Road from Iowa Street to the west city limits

Locust Street from 2nd Street to 9th Street

Louisiana Street from 23rd Street to the south city limits

Lyon Street from 2nd Street to 9th Street
