Vacation of Utility Easement, Langston Heights Addition |
Background
On October 7, 2014 the City Commission will hold a public hearing to consider the vacation of a utility easement; described as:
The western 5’ of a 10’ wide utility easement on Lots 7, 15, 25, and 26, Block 3; and Lots 4, 5, and 15, Block 4 located in the Langston Heights Addition, a subdivision in the City of Lawrence, Douglas County, Kansas.
The owner Bob Santee proposes the vacation for additional building area for narrow RS-5 lots.
All utilities, as well as property owners within 200 feet, were notified. No objections were received.
Action Request
Hold public hearing and pending discussion, approve order of vacation for the western 5’ of a 10’ wide utility easement on Lots 7, 15, 25, and 26, Block 3; and Lots 4, 5, and 15, Block 4 located in the Langston Heights Addition.
