ORDINANCE NO. 9011

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS, 2013 EDITION AND AMENDMENTS THERETO, RELATING TO NO PARKING ON A PORTION OF EDGEHILL ROAD

          BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS:

SECTION I:    From and after the effective date of this ordinance and the installation of appropriate traffic control devices, parking is prohibited without a permit issued by the City to 1647 & 1649 Edgehill Road, along the northerly side of Edgehill Road from 110 feet east of Louisiana Street, east 50 feet.

SECTION II:  The City Engineer is hereby directed to amend the Schedule of No Parking, maintained by the Office of the City Engineer, to reflect the provisions of Section I.

SECTION III: The Director of Public Works is hereby directed to establish regulations to issue a city permit in accordance with this ordinance. The City may charge a reasonable fee for the permit.
