ORDINANCE NO. 9024

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS ALLOWING THE POSSESSION AND CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR ON CERTAIN SPECIFIED PUBLIC PROPERTY

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS:

SECTION 1. Pursuant to City of Lawrence Code Section 4-105(E), the prohibition of the sale, possession and consumption of alcoholic liquor on public property shall not apply to Delaware Street from 8^th Street to 9^th Street, and the parking lot south of the Poehler Lofts 619 E 8^th Street from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Saturday September 13, 2014, associated with the 2014 SeedCo Harvest Event, provided the sale, possession and consumption are pursuant to City of Lawrence and State of Kansas law.

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its adoption and publication as provided by law.
