meeting at the City Hall at 5:30 on April 09, 2014.
Quorum not present at meeting. No voting occurred.

Verify the Caterpillar scene during the Iniades portion
is correct for Greece.

Remove Alps scene from Eutin portion of film.
o Review
color fading to B+W in the Eutin portion
of film.

Add pictures
of students visiting schools,
here and abroad.

Film needs a “Call to Action” message
at the end of film, to include website
and email contact
info.

The search
for new trip coordinators is ongoing. Two separate couples have volunteered to share responsibilities. James Hilliard
continues discussion.

of Eutin) – Albrecht

Frank has made a $500 spending
request to support a KU Graphics
Art student to be an artist in residence in Eutin. Funds to come from Oswald Fund.

DCCF. Address of student
is needed. Check will be sent directly
to student. Albrecht to forward
students contact info to Herndon.

The Lawrence
Delegation to Eutin will meet on May 7th to discuss details of the trip. Professor Keel will send final meeting info.

Herndon – Eutin artist
Frauke Klatt has requested
a showing of her art at the new Lawrence Library.
Klatt will ship her work at her cost. She will also be part of the Eutin delegation to Lawrence this Fall. Herndon
is in communication with Klatt regarding the plans for the showing.

Josserand commented
that it would be appropriate for the KU theatre program to
send a modest gift to Iniades for their continued
support of KU programs.
Meeting with Rotary Club regarding
their funding of Sister City activities ‐

Lawrence Central
Rotary have donated $1000
to the Lawrence Sister
City program.
·
Herndon sent letter to Rotary
club explaining the board policies.
Treasurers Report ‐
Hodge
·
Hodge presented
the first Quarter 2014 report and the DCCF Account.
·
Herndon requested a final balance
for the report.
Hodge to add information to report.
·
Regarding reimbursement to the Lynch family, a $5 discrepancy was noted between the deposit and expenditure columns.
Hodge to review issue and update report.
2014 Dues ‐ Josserand
·
4K budgeted
for 2014, up from 3K in 2013.
·
Josserand asked that Board members review the list of past dues paying members
for contacts they are acquainted with and to make contact
regarding possible contributions this year.
