Updated Bike Map Available

Planning and Development/MPO staff recently updated the city’s bicycle rideability map. The city’s previous bike map was very popular with cyclists; the city has distributed 10,000 copies since 2010. Recently, city staff and the Bicycle Advisory Committee worked to update the map with new bike-friendly routes in the city and Douglas County.  The city is currently printing the new map for distribution with the help of local community sponsors including Sunflower Outdoor and Bike Shop, Cycle Works, Lawrence Bicycle Club, LiveWell Lawrence and the Lawrence Central Rotary.
