Project Description

Currently there is a limited amount of existing storm sewer infrastructure south of 9th Street between Indiana and Mississippi Streets.  Due to topography as well as recent and future construction on Mount Oread it has been deemed necessary to extend the existing storm sewer south along Mississippi Street.  This storm sewer extension will provide a path for storm water runoff and help to prevent future street flooding.  The cost of the entire project is estimated to total approximately $65,000.  The construction of the new storm sewer will be performed by the city stormwater crew.

Project Funding

The storm sewer pipe (materials only) is funded from the Stormwater Utility Fund.
