Please place this item on the next available City Commission agenda.

The Douglas County Fair Board has requested permission to display 5 banners to promote the Douglas County Fair from July 24 through August 3, 2014.  The banners measure 12 square feet (6 feet by 2 feet) and are proposed for the following business locations:

1. Clinton Parkway Nursery, 4900 Clinton Parkway
2. Crown Automotive, 3400 S Iowa St
3. Howard Pine’s Garden Center and Greenhouses, 1320 N 3^rd St
4. H D Lewis, DVM, 3101 W 6^th St
5. Knights of Columbus Club, 2206 E 23^rd St

Action

Approve as “signs of community interest,” a request from the Douglas County Fair Board to place 5 signs promoting the Douglas County Fair, from July 24 to August 3, 2014.
