RE:	Sign of Community Interest Request

Please place this item on the next available City Commission agenda.

Lawrence Metaphysical Fair is scheduled to have their 4^th annual Fair event at the Douglas County Fairgrounds from Friday July 11 through Sunday July 13, and has requested permission to place up to 32 directional signs as follows:

• Up to 8 signs on the south side of 23^rd Street west of Harper Street
• Up to 8 signs on the north side of 23^rd Street east of Harper Street
• Up to 8 signs on the east side of Harper Street north of 23^rd Street
• Up to 8 signs on the east side of Harper Street south of 19^th Street (along Fairgrounds property)

The sign dimensions are 15 inches by 20 inches.

Action

Approve as “signs of community interest”, a request from Lawrence Metaphysical Fair to place as many as 32 directional signs along 23^rd Street and Harper Street, from July 11 to July 13, 2014.
