Project Description

The Utilities Department requests to bid preventive maintenance services for the electrical management devices at the lift stations and water and wastewater plants. The electrical management devices control power delivery to the controls and motors within the Utility Department facilities.  The controls and motors are used in the treatment and transport of water within the water and wastewater systems.  The electrical management devices are located at the water and wastewater treatment plants and lift station locations within the city.  This preventive maintenance program helps ensure the reliability of the electrical components that are tested and the components to which they provide power. Utilities staff will plan a pre-bid meeting with potential contractors to answer questions on June 26, 2014.

Project Funding

The work will be funded out of the 2014 Operations and Maintenance budget.

Set bid opening date of July 1, 2014 for Bid Number B1445 Electrical Preventive Maintenance.
