RE:	City Manager Report – National Public Works Week

The Public Works Department, along with other city departments, friends and family celebrated national public works week at a Kansas City T-Bones baseball game.

We had a great turn out for the event, which began with Vice-Mayor Jeremy Farmer throwing out the first pitch.

We look forward each year to recognizing the hard work, dedication and professionalism of the men and women of the Public Works Department. They work tirelessly behind the scenes ensuring the City of Lawrence and its community has safe, reliable services.
