RE:	Request for Proposals for Solid Waste Facility on Kresge Road

Please place the following item on the April 15, 2014 City Commission agenda:

Authorize distribution of request for proposals for professional services for the Solid Waste Facility on Kresge Road.

In March 2014, the City of Lawrence acquired the property at 2201 Kresge Road for the purpose of re-locating Solid Waste operations and Household Hazardous Waste Facility.  The next step for planning and development of the property is to complete the re-plat, site plan, and related construction documents for phased construction on the site. 

Attached is the Request for Proposals for professional services for the Solid Waste Facility on Kresge Road.  The requested deadline for proposals is May 16, 2014.
