Please place this item on the April 8, 2014 City Commission agenda for consideration.

The Cider Gallery has submitted a right-of-way permit application for the Kansas Food Truck Festival, scheduled for Saturday, May 10, 2014. They request permission to close Pennsylvania from 8^th to 9^th Streets. They also request permission for the possession and consumption of alcohol on Pennsylvania Street from 8^th to 9^th Street from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on May 10, 2014.

ACTION:

Approve a Temporary Use of Public Right-of-Way Permit for the Kansas Food Truck Festival, allowing the closure of Pennsylvania Street from 8^th to 9^th Streets on Saturday, May 10^th, 2014;

Adopt on first reading, Ordinance No. 8975, allowing the possession and consumption of alcohol on Pennsylvania Street from 8^th to 9^th Streets as part of the event.
