RE:	Grapple truck replacement

Please place the following item on the consent agenda for the City Commission to consider at the March 25, 2014 meeting:

Background

In an effort to provide better automation for the Parks and Recreation Department Forestry Division, the Solid Waste Division of Public Works requested bids for the replacement of the grapple bulk truck. The current grapple truck is two years old and in good condition and will be transferred to Parks and Recreation Forestry crew to be used for lifting and transporting tree trunks and large limbs cut down on City property.
