TERMS: Four year terms. Terms expire January 31 of corresponding year. *new Fire Code stipulates that members shall serve four year terms. As members/positions are reappointed, the new four year term will start at that point.

MEMBERS: Five.

MEETINGS: When business needs to be conducted, or when appeal hearing is requested. Jayhawk Room, Fire/Medical Administration Building, 1911 Stewart Avenue.

FUNCTION:

The Board makes recommendations concerning the adoption of the fire code and hears appeals from administrative interpretations of the code.
