On February 5, 2014 the City of Lawrence opened proposals for the following:

Foundation vent wells, siding repair and painting, driveway replacement, stoop replacement and handrails, wheel chair ramp, window repairs, major plumbing-water supply and DWV, countertop GFCI’s and other electrical repairs, crawl space sump pump, drywall repairs and ceiling painting, grab bars and toilet repairs with floor coverings in bath, kitchen and laundry.  Lead base paint stabilization with clearance testing.  Alternate #1 – Repair all windows, Alternate #2 – Replacement windows with like in kind replacements, Alternate #3 – Install ADA height toilet.

Replace concrete driveway and patio, clean and repair stucco, new gable end siding with painting of all wood, window replacement, attic air sealing, radon mitigation, in slab duct plugging and wall repair, GFCI’s and ceiling fan boxes, grab bars and faucet/drain replacement, abandoned vent removal and roof repair. Lead base paint stabilization with clearance testing.  Alternate #1 – Roof replacement.

 

 

 

Recommendation Action:

 

Reject the bids for the Comprehensive Rehabilitation Project located at 2112 Ohio St. as both were in excess of program limits of $25,000.00

 

Reject the bids for the Comprehensive Rehabilitation Project located at 1926 Vermont St. as both were in excess of program limits of $25,000.00
