RE:	Reimbursement to Lawrence Arts Center for phone system

Please place the following item on the agenda for consideration by the City Commission at their meeting on 1/121/2014:

Approve reimbursement to the Lawrence Arts Center in the amount of $17,771.36, for installation, programming and training of a new phone system. 

Background

As part of the 2014 budget, the City agreed to reimburse the Lawrence Arts Center for the following capital improvements needed at their facility:

· installation of a new phone system;

· upgrades to the kitchen space

The City issued debt in the fall of 2013 in order to fund these capital improvements, along with improvements need at other City owned facilities. 

The Arts Center has completed installation of the new phone system and has submitted the attached request for reimbursement. 

Action Requested

Staff requests the City Commission approve reimbursement to the Lawrence Arts Center in the amount of $17,771.36, for installation, programming and training of a new phone system.
