Fox Chase South Addition No. 3 – Tract B

 

 

Please place the below item on the December 30, 2013 City Commission Agenda.

 

Project Description:

The developers of Fox Chase South Addition No. 3 continue to build out the undeveloped portions of the subdivision.  Kanza Drive has now been extended past Warren Court.  Pursuant to the platting requirements and notes on the plat, an access point to the adjacent DeVictor Park will be deeded to the City.  The property owner of Tract B, Devco, Inc., has requested that the City accept Tract B to be used as an access and utility easement (see attached plat).  The plat notes also indicate there is a 10 foot building setback from the tract.  The City of Lawrence will be responsible for maintenance of the property (see attached aerial photo).

 

Upon acceptance of the property, Parks and Recreation personnel will identify and mark the boundaries of the tract and the property will be removed from the tax rolls.

 

Action Requested:

Accept dedication of Tract B, Fox Chase South Addition No. 3 from Devco, Inc.
