RE:	1/2 ton pickup for Engineering and Utility Billing

Please place the following item on the consent agenda for the City Commission to consider at their November 5, 2013 meeting:

Background:

Engineering Division of Public Works and the Utility Billing Division of Finance Department have requested bids to replace two 1/2 ton pickup trucks that have high maintenance costs and reached the end of service life.

Recommendations

Central Maintenance Garage staff recommends the low bid from Laird Noller.

Authorize the Public Works Department and Finance Department to purchase the low bid trucks from Laird Noller Ford for the amount of $21,702.00 each.
