The Lawrence Bicycle Club has applied for a Temporary Use of Public Right-of-Way Permit for the closure of Massachusetts Street from 11th Street to 13th Street on Sunday, October 13, from 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. for staging of bicycle riders for the annual Octoginta ride. Access to all of the churches in the area will be maintained. The entire route for the ride is still being finalized, and organizers are working with city and county law enforcement agencies on those plans.
ACTION: Approve a Temporary Use of Public Right-of-Way Permit for the Lawrence Bicycle Club’s Octoginta, closing Massachusetts Street from 11th Street to 13th Street on Sunday, October 13, from 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
