·         City Commission Meeting will start at 5:00 p.m. due to the Presidential Elections.

 

·         Authorize the Mayor to enter into a cooperation agreement with Douglas County and Douglas County Senior Services to provide for coordination of services to residents of Lawrence and Douglas County, age 55 and older;   and authorize the Mayor to enter into an agreement with Douglas County Senior Services relating to utilization of a city building located at 8th and Vermont Streets.   Staff Memo

·         Receive request from Downtown Lawrence, Inc., to install a sign of community interest at the corner of 9th and Massachusetts Streets.   Staff Memo & Attachments

·         Concur with the recommendation of the Traffic Safety Commission to approve a request to establish no parking along the south side of Dakota Street from Louisiana Street, east to the sidewalk (approximately 100 feet) and adopt on first reading, Ordinance No. 8812, establishing no parking along the south side of Dakota Street from Louisiana Street, east 80 feet.   TSC item #5; approved 9-0 on 10/1/12.
