RE:               Bid recommendation – 2012 Master Street Tree Project

 

 

On October 16, 2012, Parks and Recreation Department opened bids for the 2012 Master Street Tree Program. This project bid the purchase and installation of 153 street trees.

 

Rosehill Gardens was the only vendor that bid the project, at a cost of $215.00 per tree, for a total cost of $32,895 for the 153 trees. The work would start immediately upon getting the trees dug this fall and end by December 31, 2012.

 

Funding for this project comes from the fees collected during the building permit process. The fee collected is currently $225 per tree. 

 

Recommendation Action:

Award the purchase and installation of 153 street trees to Rosehill Gardens at a total price of $32,895.
