The following equipment meets or exceeds the criteria for replacement or is no longer useful to the City. We request City Commission approval to sell the surplus equipment on Gov Deals as we have done in the past.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY EQUIPMENT
Information Technology replaced 15 computer work stations. These computers are 6 to 10 years old and in poor condition. The hard drives have been erased and there is no software installed.
PUBLIC WORKS
Public Works Central Maintenance garage has two pallets of obsolete parts for Load Master sanitation trucks that are no longer needed due to model changes. We no longer have these truck body models. They have one pallet of old radios that have been pulled from trucks from all departments. These radios are considered junk and will no longer be supported, they have been replaced. They also have battery chargers and an antifreeze recycler that are unreliable, in poor condition and have been replaced.
FIRE/MEDICAL
The Fire/Medical exercise equipment listed below is no longer used by the department, and in some cases has been replaced with equipment with modern safety features.
VEHICLES
The vehicles being sold meet or exceed the City’s criteria for replacement.
MIACELLANEOUS EQUIPMENT
The copy machine and folding machine are in poor condition and have been replaced.
