ONE (1) ½ TON PICKUP – FINANCE DEPARTMENT – B1252
The Finance Department requested bids for a ½ ton pickup to be used by their field service staff. The pickup is primarily used for turning water meters on and off, replacing meters when necessary, and collections. It carries approximately 1200 lbs. of tools and meters. It is replacing unit 223 which has accumulated over 100,000 miles in 10 years of service. This purchase was approved in the 2012 budgeting process.
