RESOLUTION NO. 6969

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE STATE OF KANSAS, AUTHORIZING THE SECRETARY OF TRANSPORTATION TO UNDERTAKE AND TO COMPLETE PROJECT 10-23 K-8932-04 WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS:

The Mayor of the City of Lawrence, Kansas, is hereby authorized to execute, for and in behalf of the City, Agreement No. 12-12, between the City and the State of Kansas, authorizing the Secretary of Transportation to undertake and to complete Project 10-23 K-8392-04, which project includes construction of a four-lane freeway (K-10 connection from the south junction of US-59/K-10 east to K-10 with interchanges at US-59 and Haskell Avenue) and associated local road relocations and improvements as shown in the project plans, within the corporate limits of the City.
