RE:

Sole source purchase of lighting for project PW1126

Project Description

The project consists of extending Delaware Street from 9th Street to 8th Street including on-street angle parking, sidewalks, street trees, Poehler building parking lot, pedestrian lighting, storm sewer water inlets and pipes, (along Delaware and 8th) and a water line.  Reconstruction of the alley (northern half) between Delaware Street and Pennsylvania Street and the angle parking on 8th street are also part of the project.

Pedestrian and street lighting will be installed along, Delaware (8th to 9th Street) and on Poehler Building parking lot.  The lights selected for the project have a contemporary styling that are consistent with the design guidelines for this industrial historic area.  Due to the timeline involved in the production of the lights the city will be purchasing the lights and supplying them to the contractor for installation.
