ONE (1) ˝ TON PICKUPS – B1223
Parks and Recreation requested bids for a ˝ ton pickup. It will replace Unit 572, a 1998 4X4 that was recently removed from service due to a major engine issue, antifreeze in the oil pan. Unit 572 was used in Parks District #3 to run the daily trash route and perform ball diamond maintenance.
If approved the new vehicle will be assigned to one of the supervisors and one or the older trucks would be moved to Parks District #3 to run the trash route.
This purchase was approved in the 2012 budgeting process.
