Phone System Support
In 2008, the City received bids on Bid# B08011 for annual support for supporting phone telecommunication systems for various locations including City Hall, Wastewater Treatment Plant, Law Enforcement Center, Investigations & Training Center, Nature Center, Maintenance Garage, and the Indoor Aquatic Center. The bid was awarded to Innovative Service Solutions, Inc. These systems provide telephone service for the departments at these locations. The agreement allows us to renew another year at the same costs. Given that these are older phone systems, and the City is planning for an eventual replacement with a Voice over IP (VoIP) system, Information Technology recommends renewing the existing contract for an additional year.

Recommendation Action:
Information Technology recommends approving the renewal of the existing phone system support maintenance agreement for eight locations (City Hall, Kaw Water Treatment Plant, Wastewater Treatment Plant, Law Enforcement Center, ITC Police Building, Nature Center, Central Maintenance Garage, and the Indoor Aquatic Center) for phone system CBX parts and maintenance services to Innovative Service Solutions (ISS) for an annual cost of $20,752.00. The coverage is for March 1, 2012 to March 1, 2013.
