RE:	Release of Mortgage – 1503 Maryland Street, Estate of Ginger Harrison

In 2010, the City petitioned the Douglas County District court for a claim against this estate from its mortgage it has on the real estate securing a debt in the amount of $7,000.  Ms. Harrison was a participant in the Development Services Division loan program.  The court approved the Order Allowing and Classifying the Demand of the City on January 28, 2011.  The City has agreed to release the mortgage for this property legally described as Lot 19 in Block E, Brookdale Addition.

Action Requested:

Authorize the Mayor to execute a Release of Mortgage for 1503 Maryland Street.
