The following equipment meets or exceeds the criteria for replacement or is no longer useful to the City. We request City Commission approval to sell the surplus equipment on Gov Deals as we have done in the past

INFORMATION SYSTEMS EQUIPMENT

Information Systems replaced 40 Intel Pentium work stations in the past two years.  The hard drives have been erased and there is no software installed.  They were in fair condition when replaced but do have issues such as noisy fans and failed power supplies.

Parks and recreation EQUIPMENT

All Parks and Recreation equipment being sold has been replaced and/or is no longer needed by the City.

PUBLIC WORKS EQUIPMENT

The Traffic Division’s equipment has been replaced and out of service for year.

The Central Maintenance Garage has 5 pallets of miscellaneous parts that are no longer useful to the City.  These parts were purchased for equipment and vehicles that we do not have or the models have changed so the parts will no longer work.

UTILITIES EQUIPMENT

The two lathes are 64 years old and have play in the drive heads and cutting heads.  They have been replaced with one lathe in 2011.
