PLUMBING WORK – PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT – #B1203

Parks and Recreation requested bids for unit pricing of plumbing work.  This bid is for small jobs and small repairs costing less than $15,000 for the 2012 calendar year and was written so other City departments can utilize the pricing.  The bid was also written to be renewed for four additional years providing prices remain the same, both parties agree and funds are available. 

First Management is the low bid for hourly rates for plumbing work.  They have been doing these jobs for the last few years.  Our recommendation is to award the contract to the low bidder First Management.

These projects will come out of many accounts that were approved in the 2012 budgeting process. 

Recommendation Action: 

Award bid for hourly rates for plumbing work for Parks and Recreation Department to First Management. (Parks and Recreation accounts)
