EXCAVATION WORK – PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT – #B1205

Please see attached bid tab.

Parks and Recreation requested bids for unit pricing of excavation work.  This bid is for small jobs and small repairs costing less than $15,000 for the 2012 calendar year and was written so other City departments can utilize the pricing.  The bid was also written to be renewed for four additional years providing prices remain the same, both parties agree and funds are available. 

The low bid from RD Johnson meets all the required specifications.

These projects will come out of many accounts that were approved in the 2012 budgeting process. 

Recommendation Action: 

Award bid for hourly rates for excavation work for Parks and Recreation Department to RD Johnson (Parks and Recreation accounts)
