RE:	Appointments for various boards and commissions

I recommend the following individuals for appointments.  I have included phone numbers, if available.  Please feel free to call any of them to discuss their potential appointments.  I believe they are willing to answer your questions or receive any comments you might have.

Community Development Advisory Committee:

Appoint Roberta Suenram (840.9099) to the position vacated by Collier that expire 09/30/11.

Convention & Visitors Bureau Advisory Board:

Appoint Paul Hunt to the position vacated by Michael Moore, which expirs 07/01/11.

Fire Code Board of Appeals:

Reappoint Tracy Green (843.5277) and Jay Zimmerschied (785.235.0012) to additional terms that expire 01/31/12.

Historic Resources Commission:

Reappoint Sean Williams (843.4567) and Jody Meyer (864.5564) to additional terms that  expire 03/01/12.

Lawrence Citizen Advisory Board:

Reappoint Larry McElwain (843.1120), Allen Humphrey, and Dinah Lovitch (842.9074) to additional terms that will expire 03/01/12.

Library Board:

Appoint Kent Spreckelmeyer (864.3164) to the positon vacated by Kathleen Morgan, which expires 04/30/11.

Public Health Board:

Reappoint Gerald Pees (843.5160) to an additional term that expires 03/31/12.  Appoint Shirley Martin-Smith as the joint City/County representative, to her first term that will expire 03/31/12.  This appointment will be effective April 1, 2009.
