MEETINGS:        Quarterly with other events throughout the year.

 

FUCTION:

The 12-member Lawrence Alliance seeks representation from religious groups, schools, businesses, law enforcement, health and social services, media, City/County government, Haskell Indian Nations University, University of Kansas, Lawrence School District #497, and special focus groups.  Membership consists of a talented variety of people from throughout the Lawrence community.  An overall agenda guides the Alliance in carrying out the organizations mission – the creation of a discrimination-free environment in Lawrence – with the assistance of the sponsoring organizations:  City of Lawrence, Haskell Indian Nations University, University of Kansas, and the Lawrence Unified School District #497.
