CARL KNOX NATATORIUM TO REOPEN FOR FALL SEASON

LAWRENCE - The Carl Knox Natatorium, 1901 Louisiana St., will reopen
Monday, Sept. 10. 

 

The pool is open to the public from 6:15 to 8:30 p.m., Monday through
Thursday, for lap swimming.

 

Located on the Lawrence High School campus, the natatorium is a
traditional L-shaped indoor pool that features six 25-yard lap lanes, a
diving well, sundeck and changing rooms.

SENIORS INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN OPEN VOLLEYBALL AND BASKETBALL

LAWRENCE - Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department is now hosting free
play volleyball and basketball for ages 50 and up at East Lawrence
Center, 1245 E. 15th St. 

 

Volleyball is offered from 1 to 3 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday, and
basketball is offered from 1 to 3 p.m. every Monday and Friday. Players
of all levels are welcome.
