Lawrence to host combined farewell for Sister City students from Eutin and annual membership reception

 

(Lawrence, Ks) - The 2007 student delegation from Eutin, Germany, a Lawrence Sister City, will attend a combined farewell and annual membership reception on Thursday, Nov. 1 at 7p.m. in the lobby of the Lawrence Arts Center, 940 New Hampshire. The reception is free, and parking is available in the parking garage across the street from the center.

 

A large community farewell on behalf of the visiting students sends a message of support for the sister cities program and the cultural awareness the program provides.  

 

Past exchange participants, host families and individuals who have visited or lived in Germany as well as Lawrence residents interested in meeting the visiting students or would like to learn more about the sister cities program are invited to attend the reception.
