Important News From Lawrence Parks and Recreation for Friday, October 12, 2007

BRUSH DROP OFF SITE CLOSED DUE TO FIRE

LAWRENCE- Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department's wood debris drop off site at 1420 E. 11th St., will be closed tomorrow due to a brush fire at the site.

 

The facility normally is open Saturdays, April through November, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The facility is scheduled to reopen next Saturday, Oct. 20, at 10 a.m. It will be open on Saturdays through Nov. 10.

 

The cost to drop off brush is $3 per pickup load. No leaves are accepted at the site.
