Travel training provides hands-on experience learning the "T" system

 

(Lawrence, KS) - Wondering which bus routes go where at what times, how
to make a transfer, or where to get on and off the bus? There are
answers to be found.

 

Lawrence Transit System offers a "travel training" workshop that covers
the basics of riding the fixed route bus system.

 

The workshop, "T" Time, is designed to teach Lawrence citizens how to
travel safely and independently. The free workshop focuses on the use of
the ADA accessible "T" fixed route bus system. Issues explored include
trip planning, navigating the system, passenger rules and regulations,
and tips for a successful trip.  

 

Lawrence Transit System's next "T" Time travel training workshop will be
from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Lawrence Public Library on Saturday,
November 4, 2006. Please register in advance at 832-3465.
