Swim Meet

INDOOR AQUATIC CENTER'S COMPETITION POOL TO CLOSE FOR SWIM MEET
LAWRENCE - The Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department's Indoor Aquatic
Center, Competition Pool, will be unavailable to the public starting
tomorrow, Friday, Oct. 27, at 2 p.m. due to the Jerry Laws Olathe
Spooktacular swim meet, which is being hosted by the Aquatics Division.
The Competition Pool will reopen on Monday, Oct. 30, at 5:15 a.m.

The Family pool will be available for public swim at its regularly
scheduled hours:   Friday, Oct. 27 - 3:30 to 7:45 p.m.; Saturday, Oct.
28 - 1 to 7:45 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 29 - 1 to 5:45 p.m. 

Additional lap swimming hours will be made available at the Carl Knox
Natatorium, 1901 Louisiana St., from 6:15 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct.
27;  1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28, and from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday,
Oct. 29. 

There is no admission being charged for the swim meet, so the public is
invited to attend and support Lawrence swimmers competing in the meet.
