BURCHAM PARK TO CLOSE TEMPORARILY
 
(LAWRENCE, Ks) - Burcham Park, 200 Indiana St., will be closed to the public from Thursday, Nov. 30, through Friday, Dec. 15, for repairs to the water line, which runs through the park to the Kaw Water Plant.  Work is weather dependent and inclement weather may delay or extend the project.
   
Besides valve replacement, pipes will be inspected, which require excavation near the pump station in the park. For safety, the park will be closed to the public.
