                LPRD celebrating 60 years of service to the Lawrence
Community in 2006

			1) Holiday Bazaar To Feature Crafts Of The
Season This Sunday

HOLIDAY BAZAAR WILL FEATURE CRAFTS OF THE SEASON THIS SUNDAY
LAWRENCE - The Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department will host the
30th annual Holiday Bazaar Sunday, Nov. 19, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at
the Community Building, 115 West 11th St. The admission is free and the
public is invited to attend.

The Holiday Bazaar features homemade art and handcrafts produced by
local and regional artists on display and for sale.  There are over 90
exhibitors registered for the annual bazaar.

Sounds of the season will also fill the air with music performances by
local groups, followed by their performance location, including:

1 - 2 p.m.  	Plymouth Rock Congregational Church Festival Bell
Ringers Choir - Balcony
2 - 3 p.m.	Too Much Fun Band - Basement
2- 3 p.m.	Lawrence Wesleyan Church High School Band - Balcony
3 - 4 p.m. 	Trail Mix - Basement
3 -4 p.m.	Trail Mix - Balcony

The Holiday Bazaar was previously run by Doreta Boyd. This is the fifth
year the Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department has organized the
event.
