                LPRD celebrating 60 years of service to the Lawrence
Community in 2006

LAWRENCE PARKS AND RECREATION CELEBRATED AT CICI'S PIZZA TONIGHT
LAWRENCE-Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department will be celebrated at
CiCi's Pizza, 23rd and Iowa Sts., tonight from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. 

CiCi's Pizza will donate 10 percent of all sales between 4:30 and 8:30
p.m. to Parks and Recreation's Wee Folks Scholarship Fund. 

Parks and Recreation annually awards over $15,000 in scholarships
through the Wee Folks Scholarship Fund, providing youth of Lawrence the
opportunity to participate in activities and programs.

A flyer advertising the event can be found online at www.lprd.org. Those
who bring the flyer with them will receive a free drink.
