CITY INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS
(LAWRENCE, Ks) - No new projects are scheduled to begin next week.
On going city infrastructure improvement projects for the weeks of Dec.
26 include:
Project: Kasold bridge over KTA
Traffic impact:
Kasold, north of Peterson Road, closed to through traffic
Project: Kasold Drive reconstruction
Traffic impact:
Kasold Drive, Bob Billings Parkway to W 22nd Street, one lane traffic
each direction
22nd Street east of Kasold Drive, right turns permitted, left turn
prohibited
Kasold Drive, intersections with all side streets, closed from Bob
Billings Parkway to W 22nd Terrace
Project: sanitary sewer pump stations in North Lawrence
Traffic impact: as work progresses, these impacts may occur
North Street, residence and business access will be maintained
Grant Street, residence and business access will be maintained
Walnut Street, residence and business access will be maintained
Riverfront parking garage at Sixth and New Hampshire
Ramp between upper and lower level closed, expected to remain closed
through approximately Dec. 31
Once the ramp opens, the New Hampshire Street entrance will close for
repairs
Project: Kasold Drive reconstruction north of Peterson
Kasold Drive, Peterson Road to the KTA Bridge, closed to through traffic
Kasold Drive and intersection with Peterson Road, closed north of
Peterson Road except for traffic to the Calvin Drive-Huntington Road
area
