KIDS CREATE AUTUMN-INSPIRED ART
LAWRENCE - Get inspired by the colors and creations of autumn in the Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department's It's Autumn! kid's art class. It's Autumn! is open to children ages 4 to 6, and will focus on autumn-inspired projects such as decorating pumpkins and creating art with autumn leaves.
It's Autumn! will meet Saturdays, September 17 through October 8, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Community Building, Art Room, 115 W. 11th St. The class costs $20 and will be taught by Jessica Harry.

KIDS KICK IT UP WITH KARATE
LAWRENCE - Let your child learn the art of karate with the Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department's Kids Kicks class. Kids Kicks is geared toward the younger karate student, ages five to 12, with an emphasis on learning safety skills and strengthening the body. Students will also increase their self-confidence and improve their focus.
Kids Kicks is held on Saturdays, September 17 through November 5, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Community Building, 115 W 11th St. in Community Rooms 1 and 2. The fee is $30. Kids Kicks is instructed by Mandana Ershadi-Hurt.

FALL FESTIVAL TO PROVIDE KIDS A NIGHT OUT
LAWRENCE - Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department, Aquatic Division's Kids Night Out: Fall Festival, will be held Friday, Sept. 16, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Lawrence Indoor Aquatic Center, 4706 Overland Dr.
The program will feature autumn craft creation, swimming games and activities, as well as pizza. Cost of the program is $10 per child. Pre-registration is required.
