Work on the intersection of Wakarusa Drive and Sixth Street south of Sixth Street puts traffic on Wakarusa Drive in the northbound lanes, providing one lane in each direction. Route 6 Clockwise will use a reroute during the lane restriction.

There will be no service on 6th Street between Wakarusa Drive and Folks Road. Passengers needing to board in the area will need to move to Overland Drive and Folks or on 6th Street east of Folks or on the eastside of Wakarusa Drive. Passengers boarding Route 6 Clockwise on the eastside of Wakarusa Drive are advised to board the bus at the most southern service drive into the shopping center due to construction closing the bus shelter.

Construction work on New Jersey Street reroutes the "T"

Construction on New Jersey Street between 13th and 14th Streets has rerouted Route 2. Bus riders are advised to catch the bus along Connecticut between 9th and 15th Streets. The bus will go back on route at Barker Street.

Transit drivers can provide detailed information about the reroutes to riders. For more detailed information on routes and schedules, phone (785) 312-7054 or visit www.lawrencetransit.org.
