HOLIDAY ART CLASS FOR PARENTS AND TOTS
LAWRENCE - Let your "Petite Picasso" paint presents for your friends and family this year with the Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department's Petite Picassos for the Holidays art class. Each child will receive three 8x10-inch canvas boards to paint with his or her parent for the holidays.  

Petite Picassos will meet at the Community Building, Art Room, 115 West 11th St., and will be held four times during the holiday season: Wednesday, Nov. 30, from 5:30 to 6 p.m. or 6:10 to 6:40 p.m., and Saturday, Dec. 3, from 10 to 10:30 a.m. or 10:40 to 11:10 a.m.  The class is open to children 1 to 2 years old and costs $10.

CLASS TEACHES CHILDREN TO MIND THEIR MANNERS, PLEASE
LAWRENCE - Children learn to mind their manners in Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department's Manners, Please Workshop. This workshop teaches children about proper introductions, phone etiquette and other common courtesies over a pizza lunch.

The Manners, Please workshop will be offered Saturday, Dec. 3, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the South Park Recreation Center, 1141 Massachusetts St.  It is open to children ages 6 to 10 years old, and costs $12.
