City infrastructure improvement projects 

(LAWRENCE, KS) - No new projects are scheduled to begin the week of Feb. 21. 

Working days assessed for on going city infrastructure projects are as of Feb. 18.  On going city infrastructure improvement projects include:

Project:  13th and Oregon Storm water project
233 working days on the contract, project began March 9, 2004, 150 working days assessed and 84 working days remaining. Original estimated completion date:  Spring 2005, weather permitting.
Current traffic impacts:  13th Street, closed Oregon to east of Pennsylvania.

Project: Trail Road sanitary sewer line
40 working days on the contract and 45 days assessed, work began Nov. 3, 2004.  Project has been extended for an additional 24 working days. Estimated completion date is now March 15, 2005. Traffic impact: occasional lane closures on Trail Road, east of Folks Road.
