SATURDAY NITE'S MAIN EVENT TO HOST "MONSTER'S BALL"
LAWRENCE - Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department's Saturday Nite's Main
Event, held at East Lawrence Recreation Center, 1245 E. 15th St., will  host
the "Monster's Ball" Saturday, Oct.23, from 7 to 11 p.m. The program is open
to students in 4th through 8th grade.

Saturday Nite's Main Event is a youth lock-in program and includes music,
raffles, games, karaoke and lots of prizes. Cost of attendance is $6 per
student. Each child in attendance will also receive a free bag of goodies at
the end of the night.

Saturday Nite's Main Event is a program that runs throughout the school year
with different themes for each week's program. Parents or guardians are
required to fill out a registration form for children who attend.
